We are locked in a struggle for galactic domination, one that will determine the very fate of the universe. Luckily, your race is kept out of this struggle thanks to the hyperspatial rift. It prevents a large-scale invasion from occurring, but the Vandons are beginning their efforts to invade. We have fixed it, however, so that you humans will win, weakening the Vandons, and hopefully crushing their pride. Then, the Ambrosians can take the upper hand, and hopefully end this terrible war.
